Who we are
This website is operated by PENTAX Loupes UK ("we", "us"). We arrange demonstrations, fittings and quotations for PENTAX Loupes in the United Kingdom. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@pentaxloupes.com.
What we collect, and why
We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through the forms on this site: your name, email address, phone number, practice or company name, postcode, profession, the loupe configuration you build, and anything you write in the message box.
We use it to respond to your enquiry: to prepare your personalised quotation, to arrange a demonstration or fitting, and to contact you about the enquiry you made. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately agree to that, and we never sell personal information.
Where it goes
Enquiries are stored in our customer relationship management system and are seen by the PENTAX Loupes UK team and the specialist handling your enquiry. Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., whose servers keep standard technical logs (including IP addresses) for security and operations; hosting may involve processing outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and videos are served from our own domain. See the cookies policy for the full statement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and any resulting order, and then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or send it to someone else. Email info@pentaxloupes.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how this website handles personal information, for example by adding analytics, we will update this policy first and change the date at the top.
